Mr. Maged Harby Rashwan

Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Ain Shams University in 2007, and Started his career as Google Adwords Professional. Then, Joined Nahdet Misr Publishing House in the Rights Department in 2008 and then was promoted to be the head of the department in 2012. Maged was responsible for getting the needed licenses for products and/or services from the most popular and famous companies in the world such as Disney, National Geographic, Discovery, and more than 140 national and international companies. He was managing the team to achieve the department’s and company’s goals on time and with the best results.
At Nahdet Misr, Maged received many courses and guidance, especially in negotiations and project management. He joined several mega projects in Egypt and the Arab Countries and perfectly handled them. He traveled to many countries in Europe and GCC and was subject to different business cultures during his travels including the USA, China, Italy, Lebanon, Germany, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
On the grounds of his 15th year of business management and achievements, he was nominated by the CEO of Nahdet Misr for Publishing House in 2017 to be the Operations Manager of EdVentures Corporate Ventures Capital that has been established in 2017 and specialized in the field of Education and EdTech. Then promoted in 2019 to be the General Manager of EdVentures.
Maged has received several different types of courses and certificates such as Establishing Incubators and Corporate VCs, Certified Innovation Manager, Professional Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trading, and Children Publishing. He also received several courses and certificates in soft skills, especially negotiations, and business ethics. These courses and certificates have been provided by renowned international and national well-known originations such as USAID’s SEED (Strengthening Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development), China Arab States Technology Transfer Center, Brooklyn Academy, AKADEMIE DES DEUTSCHEN BUCHHANDELS, UNIVERSITAT LEIPZIG, Goethe Institute, and AmCham.
