Engineer Amr Soliman has been one of the key figures of the real estate industry in Egypt and the MENA region. His leadership stems from a deeply rooted belief in the power of innovation and novelty as pillars to design, architecture, and development. He has focused and developed an early interest in delivering superior designs that aimed to add real value to the lives of the residents. Soliman has applied his life’s vision on the business approach, where Mountain View reflects the warmth of home.
Over the past 18 years, Soliman extended the market with distinctive projects aimed at spreading the science of happiness, reflected in unique architectural designs, stemmed from his vision to nurture the real estate scene in Egypt and transform it from being merely construction products to being a way of leading a happy life.
Through this extensive expertise and long journey in the sector, Soliman altered and tailored his vision to mold Mountain View as a professional real estate development company in 2005. Mountain View quickly evolved from developing small premium communities and mini-compounds, to city-scale developments that integrate different life activities.
During the period 2010-2015, Soliman integrated business and management systems with innovation to grow into havens for happiness and ultimate comfort. Lately, as a result of his approach and the innovation development dynamics he implanted in his employees and later the communities they develop, Mountain View has launched their very first international “Happy” administrative project “Heartwork”. In collaboration with Delivering Happiness (DH) and CallisonRTKL, the project was strategically designed to create a positive environment through the choice of colors and materials.
In addition to leading development and innovation, Soliman spends a considerable part of his time on social and humanitarian activities. He is in fact an active and founding partner of a number of charities and social responsibility institutions, including “The Egyptian Food Bank,” and “Terous.” He also took part in American University in Cairo foundation’s program Real Estate Academy as well as being one of the referees of its graduation project.
Being a highly family-oriented man, Soliman’s 3 daughters and son played a big role into shaping him into who he is today. His advocacy for building meaningful communities within Mountain View is deeply rooted from his firm belief of the importance of family. During his leisure time, Soliman enjoys playing volleyball in addition to being a huge fan of El-Ahly Football Club, he makes sure not to miss a match.
