Dr. Basel Hussein Roshdy

Dr. Basel Hussein Roshdy is the chairman of IT Investments Fund and chairman and CEO of Nile Capital Holding. Basel has 28 years of experience in investment and fund management, Venture Capital, business, and corporate development. Basel has executed and exited several investments in renewable energy, technology, education, and infrastructure in Egypt and abroad. Before that, Basel worked in corporate banking handling project finance and long-term syndications for multiple projects in many economic sectors.

He holds BSC in Construction Engineering minor in Business Administration from AUC Feb 94, MBA from AUC Feb 98, and a doctorate degree DBA in corporate finance from Maastricht School of Management and American University in London in May 2005.

Basel is the General Secretary of the Egyptian Private Equity Association EPEA and an active player in the investment and business networking ecosystem.
