Ahmed Madkour is Vice President of Industry Business at Schneider Electric Northeast Africa & Levant, covering Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Libya, and Malta.

In his current role, Madkour is responsible for securing impactful digitally innovative solutions and services for industrial sectors to increase operational efficiency, workforce empowerment, sustainability, asset optimization, and cybersecurity.

With an experience of more than two decades in the power and industrial automation sector, Madkour joined Schneider Electric in 2001 and gradually climbed his career ladder to his current position as the Vice President of Industry Business; a role he has held since 2019. Prior to this, Madkour was the Distribution Sales Director of Northeast Africa, where he focused on building strategic distribution plans in the region to support sales growth.

Madkour is one of the driving forces behind the company’s leading position in the field of digital transformation across Northeast Africa and Levant region through his exceptional expertise and knowledge. Throughout his tenure at Schneider Electric, he has led numerous successful projects that achieved outstanding results.

Madkour earned his degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Ain Shams University.
