Kamel’s Experience
Tarek Kamel, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé Egypt, brings with him
a wealth of experience in sales and marketing, spanning over 25 years. With 20 years of his career
dedicated to Nestlé, Kamel has consistently demonstrated his strategic management and
investment expertise, driving accelerated growth in every role he has held.
Professional Experience
Prior to his current position, Kamel held various leadership positions in renowned companies. In
2021, he served as the CEO of O West City, Orascom Development Group, where his leadership
resulted in unprecedented sales for West Cairo projects. From 2019 to 2021, Kamel successfully
led El Gouna City as its CEO. Before joining Orascom, he served as the Sales Director for Nestlé
Egypt and North East Africa, where he played a pivotal role in driving growth and success.
Kamel’s journey with Nestlé began in 2002 where he took on multiple roles in sales and
marketing within the Ice Cream sector. In 2011, he was appointed as the Executive Director of
the Dairy Sector and became a member of the top management committee for Nestlé Egypt
and Northeast Africa.
Kamel’s professional journey started at HSBC Bank in 1997, where he gained valuable experience
in marketing and business development over a span of four years.
