In May 2019, Professor Nadia Elaref became the second president of ESLSCA University-Egypt, bringing to the institution over 30 years of leadership experience across a number of academic institutions. She is a professor of Marketing at ESLSCA University and in Alexandria University.

Professor Elaref assumed this role with a commitment to advance the mission of the University; to provide access to academically excellent undergraduate and graduate education in Egypt.

Previously Professor Elaref held several senior academic and administrative positions: Chairman of the Business Administration Department-Alexandria University; Assistant to the Vice President for International Programs-Arab
Academy for Science and Technology; Director of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London, External Programme; Egypt’s Coordinator of the World Mediterranean MBA(WMMBA); Director of DFGA- Université de Poitiers- Alexandria University; Chief Academic Advisor- ESLSCA Business School.

Professor Elaref has written more than ten books and published more than 20 academic research articles. The books include Marketing; Strategic Management; Advertising; Integrated Marketing Communications; and Introduction to Business. She has supervised more than 40 doctorate dissertations and master theses.
Professor Elaref has two daughters and a son who share her passion for developing and enhancing education through investment in human capital development.
